Billingham International Festival of World Dance is run entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure the festival runs smoothly, & without whom the festival would cease to exist. The Festival Volunteers take on many roles within the Festival Structure as Guides, Interpreters, Meal Service, Arena Staff, Transport & Parade Marshalls, Housekeepers & Work Crew.
Ask anybody who is involved with the Festival & they would say the lasting friendships formed amongst International Groups & the teams are second to none & cannot be experienced anywhere else in the UK.
A lot of our volunteers book their holidays for the Festival week & even travel from around the UK year after year.

Every year groups are invited to join in the festival as a participating group, to be involved in the events during the Festival week.
